Not only is studio artist, Alexandra Jacala a skilled clarinetist and pianist, but she is also an amazing vocalist who we have had the pleasure of working with for a while!
Inspired by the British pop girls group, Little Mix, Alexandra describes herself as a pop singer but is always looking to experiment with new styles of music. “I try to expose myself to different styles, but I tend to sing more pop music, and I love everything from ballads to energetic songs with raps. I also like to sing music by the groups BTS and Stray Kids.”
With plenty of performance experience, Alexandra is no stranger to the stage! “I have participated in a handful of school musicals, and I have recently attended the Open Mic.” When it comes to entertaining an audience, she is looking to expand her range and add more skills and instruments to her already impressive abilities. “I would love to learn rapping or beatboxing in the future to pair with my singing. I’ve also contemplated learning to play a new instrument like guitar.
When speaking about her time at the studio, Alexandra said, “The past seven months working with Whitney have been incredible. I have become more confident in my voice and I can trust myself to deliver a great performance, even during nerve-wracking events. I performed at the studio’s Open Mic for the first time on March 6th and I was pleasantly surprised by the results.”
Alexandra hinted that there may be some covers in the future so we are definitely keeping our hopes up for those! We are so excited to watch Alexandra continue to grow as an artist! Be sure to keep an eye out for her name in upcoming studio events!
